Dan and the Bees is a product of its followers, its community. And that's something we take seriously - guiding our decision-making at every level.

Sustainability
Sure, beekeeping is great for the environment. But we also believe that beekeeping can be a more sustainable industry.
That's why we've made the following commitments to ensure we lead the British honey market towards a more sustainable future:

Phasing out and replacing our old polystyrene hives with responsibly-sourced wooden equipment;

Using only local bees produced by our own queen breeding programme;

Ensuring our packaging is carbon neutral;

Working with local beekeepers to reduce British beekeeping's dependence on imported goods.
